There’s more happening beyond the
paint & sip canvas!
If you’ve taken an Evolve class, you know I love helping people get creative without taking art too seriously.
In September 2026, I launched Emily Prahl Art and started a brand-new creative challenge: rescuing 50 of my old paintings by September 2027.
For years, most of my painting has happened within the structure of teaching classes — a plan to follow, a finished example to work toward, and usually a pretty firm time limit.
This project is different.
There’s no timer, no class waiting for me to finish, and no rule for how much — or how little — I have to change. I get to experiment, try new techniques, make mistakes, change my mind, and spend as long as I want figuring out what each painting needs.
Every rescue starts with an older piece and becomes a chance to see how far I’ve come — and where my art might go next.
I’m documenting all 50 transformations along the way, with the goal of bringing the completed collection together at the end of the series for my very first Art Show!!
